Hi Everyone, My BG check was in limbo for 3 months. It showed as completed yesterday, while LPP were still in progress. However, I checked ecas just now and it says 'Decision Made'. I went back to the tracker and LPP is still in progress. Has anyone been there? What do I make of this?

There are few applicants in a similar situation. you might find them on this thread. My application has been inactive since 21st July.

I was thinking the same. someone on this thread earlier had also suggested it. But when I spoke to IRCC they said you do not have to redo the fingerprints. we know that you submitted them ..Weird!

Yep!! Waiting for BG after submitting fingerprints in July. They are yet to receive the BG check results; they have been sleeping on them for 2 months. LPP is obviously no where close to being completed. IRCC agents say a different story each time I speak to them. Kind of similar situation as you.

RCMP sent my BG check results to IRCC on 10th July. But IRCC says they haven't received anything from RCMP until now. clearly the results have been lost (may be by Canada post). Anyone know what can be done in this situation?

Glad that you are through with your BG check. I am still waiting on IRCC to wake up. They received my FP on 10th July and the tracker still says waiting on me for the FP.

Thanks for responding. good to know there are other people in the same boat. Its ridiculous that their email says they may not be able to respond to inquiries within '5' business days but apparently they do not bother to respond at all I guess. the least they can do is respond to status check...

Hi Everyone I have a paper application that is stuck on BG check due to delay from RCMP. Got a request to submit fingerprints on 5th July, submitted on 7th July and even until today the RCMP have not passed any information to IRCC. Just like other government agencies RCMP is also pathetic...
