Had OATH ceremony this morning and officially a Canadian citizen now - the actual ceremony is only 45 minutes but with all the preparation it took almost 2 hours - good luck to all those waiting !

Once they call in for the test, it hardly takes an hour to get out finishing test and interview - although it says 8.15am is your appointment, the test wont start immediately - so if you give another 30 minutes for all the preparation/waiting before test, you need 90 minutes to get in and out -...

No ... on March 2nd its updated on ecas - but the message reads they sent the official correspondence on March 1st by regular mail which i need to bring with me to the ceremony !

Thats exactly whats in the instructions guide - you don't need police clearance certificate - again i don't want to speculate your case ... you may very well hear from them today or next week and we may be taking oath together !

what did the officer tell you during interview about next steps - is there any matter pending on your file? i was told all processing on my file was done and i should hear about oath date within 2 months!

Folks, my oath ceremony set to March 16, 2018 at 10:30 AM - just got the status updated on ecas! Apparently, IRCC took exactly 5 months from the day they received my application to the oath. Good luck to those waiting ....
