There are several other reason too. May be they are updating ur profile with ur recent update of communications. Other reasons are already mention in my earlier messege. But generally try to avoid any changes. Upto extreme jobs possible but address and other stuffs will add on waiting period...

They update profile. Its called ghost update. Generally they give further instructions like biometrics request, Prearrival letter, ADR etc. Etc. Some times it happens several times then they request some documents or further actions.

Some people get response in 3 months and some may get a year to get response. Some jan-2017 still waiting for nomination. Previous year they were shown processing time as 3 months. Now as per their present status on website it shows more than 6 months
