That's completely normal. My application wasn't changed to approved until I sent off my passport. They send PPRs in batches, I got mine a few days after the agent told me my application was approved. You'll get the email in the next batch. Congratulations!!!

I'd go to Seattle first. I'm sure it wouldn't make a difference, but the US border guards will probably ask questions as to why you came back shortly after seeing them in the first place. Better to avoid the hassle All the best!

The interview is just a formality. They'll ask if you have committed any crimes in any country and ask if you have any dependants that are not on your application, then they'll issue your PR :)

I sent mine on the 2nd of February and got the approved status yesterday. Checked the return tracking this morning and its in transit. It'll take about 2 weeks from the day you send your passport to get approved so don't worry :)
