I have my parents on the HYD-LON-YYZ on 23rd. Spoke the BA customer service and they couldn't find anything which prohibits their travel. They have visit visa(Parents of PR)

Can visit visa holders(related to PR) travel at this time? I was able to get tickets HYD-DXB-YYZ AUG 5th All i was able to get from Emirates was they need COVID tests to be done 96 hrs prior from departure. Does anyone know any special requirements during these times?

IRCC is well aware of notorious indian 498a law(over 90% of these cases are false-lies or exaggeration). Whats criminal in India may/may not be crime in Canada, definitely not to the extent of extradition. with that said: just having a 498a case against OP is not a basis for asylum

the indian 498a law is to protect women,it is the misuse of the law which causes the damage. simply put:a woman(wife) can file a(false) 498a complaint and everyone on the complaint is a criminal and is punishable.To clear oneself though the courts it takes many years and the damage is done.

@canuck78 @scylla ..I appreciate your response. I was indeed taken to secondary inspection and after 2 hours of questioning i was almost ready to give up PR and file a new application.Only problem i was running into was there is no easy way to give up PR and re-file without losing...

Assuming you applied the extension online,you should have received the confirmation in the account. For paper applications,it may be a while before you receive the confirmation.Try calling CIC...
