    You have to open the file with Adobe Reader specifically. What program are you using to try and open the form? Did you download and install Adobe Reader?

    Thanks, that makes sense to me. What is the purpose of the visitor extension in that case? For other people who need actual visas? Re: Question 2, I'd seen that link on cic.gc.ca and that was basically all I could find about the topic.
