If you are going to any other country,u should have a valid PR card or visa .you have 2 options. There is a temporary PR . just go through this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=064&top=10 and option 2 is you have to enter through a private vehicle from us cabada border...

I have come across some who received PPR a week after 6 months and a few days before 6 months, as long as no enquiry directly it's all good.just don't lose hope

PPR Feb 6 aor 148 days in proccesing,bg check ip2 from March 1st week, It was one hell of a ride and very stressful, but patience is the key
