The OCI process is hopelessly long. BLS Brampton received on October 16 and sent it to consulate on October 25. Until today there has been no status update on the oci site. Can't understand why the delay is so much.

My OCI application reached BLS Bramton on 16 Oct and is in Consulate for Processing since Oct 25. Its not ack on OCI website. I think it will be next week. Consulate is really slow. But after this things will speed up as not many will be in rush to apply for entry visa and OCI.

@antman88 @Warrier Did you get ack from consulate regarding your OCI processing? Anyone else with a 23 October OCI application date for BLS Toronto got Ack from consulate today?

Which days OCI application is getting acknowledged in Toronto consulate?

It is taking around 25-30 days to get acknowledgement nowadays.

BLS assigned the application date as 19th October.

They are not ready to send through the self addressed Canada post return envelope. We paid for drop off Purolator service again.

We sent the return envelope like we do in purolator. We asked BLS before sending as well. They said we can use Canada post too.
