    The SIN is linked to the validity of your current work permit, it expires the same date. It might take another 2 months until they start to work on your application the processing time now is 120 days :(

    Once you become a permanent resident you will be allowed to study, work... do whatever you want to... as your status will no longer be linked to a 'permit', such as student permit or work permit...
