Hey guys/girls, Today, 3 months after my citizenship test, I got a Request Letter asking me to email them a coloured copy of each page of my passport, including blank pages. Is this a new thing now? Instead of mailing the actual passport we only need to scan and send email back to them?

I sent mine on Jan 31st but only regular mail so not sure when/if CIC received my application...Dumb decision...
