Hi Sunny, I applied for federal on Nov 3, 2016. Received AOR in March and Medicals Request received on Sep 15 2017. Prior to Sep 15, my status was "You do not need a medical exam". I think that's a standard status for those who have not received their medical request yet.

I am sorry to disappoint.. but this status is the same I had before I got the medical request. So in all probability that means CIC will call you up to do medicals again. I hope they fast-track the process from there on. Wish you the very best and may your dream come to pass soon.

I sent it to DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and also a hard copy to New Delhi visa office.
