Invitation email came within 2 hours. I live in Nova Scotia but my processing office is Vancouver, oath seems to be conducted by Winnipeg office.

Well I was given several dates for each different category, but all of them have passed months ago. Last one was Nov 24 2022 for prohibition

**Edited: this was meant to be a reply to the post above** You are a little ahead of me. I’m Sep 15 2021 online applicant, Vancouver office, just got cleared background check 2 days ago. You sure did give me a hope that things finally started moving for us. Almost there…almost!

As you mentioned I got my background check updated to completed today. Finally! The rest except citizenship test is still in progress but hey, I will take it!

I applied on Sep 15 and am stuck. Only citizenship test is completed. Hopefully will see some movement real soon.

I don’t get you wrong my friend. Since I sent fingerprint back in May, my background check is still in progress to this day. so I feel like I‘m the one who is doomed. ;) Anyway we all will see the end of this journey soon, I hope!

I thought you should be happy if they don’t ask you for fingerprint? FP request automatically makes your case as non-routine which take longer to process. anyway that’s my understanding.

Oh, ok, so due doesn’t mean much then… It may not make you feel any better but please know that I am in the same boat. Only test is as completed. Plus I was asked for fp so I expect mine will take longer than routine cases.

Hopefully you get yours very soon! May not move our file faster but at least you can see something from the note… like one’s file assigned to xxxxx(agent # I assume) and it contains ”due date”. I am just guessing I will see some movement before that “due” date. Mine shows sometimes in this November.
