I got multiple entry PRTD valid for two years from India. I applied at Chennai VFS.

If you are travelling back from India, I believe you should apply from India and not US. I might be wrong. You will have to visit the Visa office and submit your application. They will courier your passport back to you once it's approved.

If they require new photos they would be emailing you, it would be better to call IRCC after 45 days to check the status of your application. Mostly the email will be sent to you after 60 days which is the time required to process new PR cards. You can also link your application to your account...

Dont think so, it will take another 50-60 days as per the agent.
