    October 2021 - Citizenship Applications

Mine took some time before I got an email, the online portal was updated to say I was scheduled on September 21st and then I got an email on the 27th. From what I've heard it just depends on your office, but it should come soon enough. Once they email you, you will have the email address of...

    October 2021 - Citizenship Applications

I was scheduled for my oath on the 18th of October but I will be out of the country, when I requested to be rescheduled they asked for proof of travel and then told me to email them on my return to Canada. I've read stories of rescheduling taking anywhere between one week and four months...

    October 2021 - Citizenship Applications

Two days ago the tracker updated to say I have been scheduled for a citizenship ceremony but I haven't received an email yet with any information. How long did it take everyone else to get the letter emailed from the local office?

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

I wasn't able to link my PR Car with the information I had however when I logged into my account and went into my Permanent Residency application it listed my COPR as having a "Status Updated Date" one day later then I landed and what was written on my COPR document. I used this date instead...

    Landing in London, Ontario

I posted in the Feb AOR thread however people may want to know my recent process for booking in a landing for Etobicoke. I ended up getting my CoPR on Monday around 3pm and called IRCC to see how long it would take to get a landing in Etobicoke. It took a while to figure out how to get...

    AOR in February 2018

So I ended up getting my CoPR on Monday around 3pm and called IRCC to see how long it would take to get a landing in Etobicoke. It took a while to figure out how to get through the voice system but I found if you went to the options to ask about a status update on your application and you put...

Congrats! I posted my photo and photocopy of my passport Wednesday morning, it arrived in Ottawa Thursday morning and by Friday midday they had updated my profile to be approved and activated the return parcel at the end of the day. I'm waiting at home at the moment as I should get my CoPR...

Possibly, I couldn't confirm for sure if you had to so I did it. They didn't meet the deadline so I emailed them at the email they provided and they sent it to me the next day.

    AOR in February 2018

Its not too hard to do, the annoying bit is figuring out which boxes to fill out the right way but doesn't take more then 5 minutes. I'd send you mine but its full of personal information, you'd know everything about it! I got mine because I wasn't sure if a few things in my application would...

    AOR in February 2018

If you're living in Canada you can request it for free under the privacy act so there's no harm in applying for it. I filled in the details and attached my work permit and was able to get it after 30 days. There's a lot of information in there and if you have a look in the GCMS threads they go...

    AOR in February 2018

Yea I'm an Australian living in Canada on IEC. No PPR yet sadly still waiting away. I ordered a second set of GCMS notes straight after the first set came through, they're due this Friday so I expect I will get them on Monday next week. We will see if anything has progressed or not.

December AOR 2017 - join here.

Just replying to confirm this is correct, I applied under the Privacy Act for myself and attached my work permit at the end (not sure if this is required or not) and I was able to get a copy of my notes for free. I did have to email them exactly after 31 days at the address they provided and I...

    AOR in February 2018

As far as I can see there isn't anything in the notes to suggest there is any reason for delays, they seem to be ticking everything off and not raising any issues. Its been around 100 days now which I think is pretty close to the average for Ottawa, lets hope there isn't any delay. Also FYI...

    AOR in February 2018

I applied for my GCMS notes on 19/04/18 and just got them today, this was after I emailed them exactly on the due date to say they were overdue. The notes were generated 5 hours after I put in the initial request under the Privacy Act but they seem to have sat on them for a month until they were...

FSW-Inland AOR - 12 Feb MEP - 21 Feb IP1 - 21 Feb NA2- 22 Feb IP2 - 27 Feb Review of documents also changed to "We do not need additional documents" today with IP2. From what I've read PPR shouldn't be too far away, I fly home in four weeks so timing will be interesting if they want my passport.

Ray of Hope - 80th Draw

From what I've read and also on this link it suggests that you do not need to supply one for permanent residency unless they specifically ask you too. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/canada.html I have only...
