That's...really fast. I think most of us here had our oath on Jan 3, and yet we still haven't received ours. Yours took just over a week since oath day.

It's usually 2 weeks + some days from oath I believe. At least based on some other people's timelines.

And now this is a race! If they shipped all our certs at around the same time, let's see who will get it first!

I'm hoping they sent the certificates directly to applicants. In another thread here someone mentioned that sometimes they are shipped to Vancouver first then got distributed to other provinces. Which obviously will take much longer with regular mail...

I looked at a bunch of posts here before, it seems like for many, status changes from completed to closed in about a week or so, and then application closed (usually means certificate dispatched) to certificate delivered takes about 2 weeks + a few days, even if you take oath somewhere like...

It's probably a bit early to see any updates. I've seen people getting their status changed to Complete in 3-6 days, and then the certificate won't be shipped until the status changes to Closed. We still have a few days to wait I guess.

Yikes...perhaps they're slower due to the holidays? Or not feeling like working...It would be kind of ridiculous if you end up getting the certificate 2 weeks after oath, which is only a bit quicker compared to others.

Have you received your certificate in the mail yet? I'm curious to see how long it takes them to mail it given that yours was expedited.

Thanks for the super helpful response! I guess I will take that risk, in any case, the certificate will be sent to my cousin's and he will bring it back to me outside of Canada so I can apply for a passport. I was hoping to do that while I am still in Canada but this seems challenging unless...
