No they dont require physical documents to be sent there. So make sure to send it via mail only.

Just mail them the documents first. After that they will send a request for the passport for cancellation. Then after processing they will be asking for the passports again for stamping new visas!

Thank you :) No they just asked for the updated forms. No POF request. After fulfilling ADR, I got medical request after 15 days. I got new PPR in another 15 days. So ADR to PPR was about 35 days.

Recently got the new PPR, sent passports on the same day ;) LOL I am now waiting for the new stamps. Lets see how much time does it take. Last time it was 10 days so counting down to the same.

I think its the VFS. Thats why I think VFS has to be the one to contact. NDVO can be contacted later once you know that theres nothing wrong with the status updation in the VFS portal. Once you know that you can confidently ask NDVO for the passports to be sent back.
