Mrmoody, you can apply trv from anywhere in the world, its not compulsory that you had to apply from lahore. Now you should create "report a technical issue" communication within your cic account. Write all details and attach clear copy of your valid USA visa copy. Hopefully you will get reply...

I'm speechless and confused. Since many comments everyone is assuming that you have applied from Australia , isn't it? If you have applied from Lahore then your visa office is abu dhabi. And vfs is nothing but just an authorized courier and documents handler between applicant and Canadian embassy.

hahaha, you need to chill and relax. canada TRV does not mean in few days. they have a process and everyone need to go through their process. many people waited upto 4 months. and Mrmoody90 is more than 6 months (although its quite long enough) hopefully now people will get their trv soon as...

Salam, When canada embassy ask for passport, you need to submit through their authorized agent like vfs. When you submit to vfs, then you start getting alerts from vfs for handling your passport and to track your passport status. Cic will update status only that your application is approved

If its Authorized agent by canadian embassy then you must get sms and email alerts

First of all, which agent you talking about. Your personal agent or VFS? Which country you submitting your passport

I recomend don't delay passport renewals. Even you can apply renewals right away and then travel. Remember, you must have maximum validity of passports. Otherwise it will be ignorance from you only

And remember, only money and travel history doesn't guarantee a visa if you don't present your application properly
