nope, AOR is just a matter of opening an envelope and putting you in the system, which took more time for hundreds of folks of the 16th of october. Only once they have actively open the envelope, they can review the documents and assess if they are missing something and in the case of urgent...

quick update: application received the 16th of October, applied through the Urgent Processing request, AOR arrived today let's see now if the urgent application does speed things up or not

well actually this is not true for everyone. FYI people like me are waiting for the citizenship to secure an employmentt situation as some jobs require the citizenship, and sometimes those issues are time-sensitive. So yes, for some of us the citizenship is much more than voting, hence the wait.

Hey, sorry I just saw your post. I also applied to the urgent citizenship process. My application was delivered on the 16th, still waiting for a sign. To date it hasn't been faster in any way, let's just hope it will once they actually open the envelope :)
