Thanks a tonne! We got the passport yesterday!! Got medicals done today and just received my AOR! Whew! Well, the US PCC from friggin' FBI was still pending, but we could prove that we applied for it as early as November 2017. Thanks for taking out time to respond. :)

Got my AOR today. Close call. It was the last date of submission. :confused: We were waiting for spouse's new passport to be delivered. Plus medical. We still didn't get FBI PCC from US, but have attached all docs to prove that we applied for it on 7th frigging' November 2017!!!!

Actually, I would not be able to submit the application before February till Spouse's FBI PCC arrives from US. But it would be nice to know that we are one step ahead in our process.

Even better, attach your Aadhaar number to your PF account and withdraw it in full after leaving job for 2 months. That money is stuck there for no reason! Show those funds in your account and live happily ever after!

Got my ECA after 3 months today, and immediately filled my express entry profile (previous one expired). Too bad that I missed the draw by 4 hours. :confused: Now looking forward to the next year.

Finally got my ECA email today. Timeline: All Documents received by IQAS: 24th September 1st AOR: 24th October 2nd AOR: 25th October (communication of 9 weeks of assessment) Final ECA email: 20th December (8 weeks) Hard copy: Awaited

This is so awesome! Yes! You can claim the points now. I am yet to recieve mine. Called them Monday night my time with zero idea of when I will get it. I will land in Canada with a head full of white hair.o_O

I did call. Turns out they don't do assessments in a queue. So, you were really lucky @jeesh. They have no idea when my assessment would be complete. :( Seriously freaking out about end of the month holidays. Though in the grand scheme of things, it's pretty tame stuff. :rolleyes:

Can't answer first part of the query, and you should ask some seniors in other forums. For second one, I can share my experience. I simply mentioned 1st July as start dates and 30th June as end dates because academic sessions in my country start in July and end in June, though not on these...
