Leave and re-enter on a visitor record

I have used Google, and I've searched forums, but I can't get a satisfying answer, either people have slightly different circumstances, or the answers are not very clear. I have applied for an extension of my stay (because I will apply for a PR later on). If I get approved, I will get a visitor...

    Can't sign Family Information Form

I suppose that could work. Although I have read somewhere that you are not suppose to do this? And there has to be an explanation for not being able to sign.

    Can't sign Family Information Form

I'm in the process of filling out the form Family Information (IMM 5707), but I can't sign it as this form is protected. I googled and found some people saying that you don't need to sign them, you simply give your signature when sending in the entire application. But on the actual Family...

Yong professional visa - who's the employer?

Thanks for your reply. I am unfortunately as confused as you are. In my own opinion, it shouldn’t matter if the visa is through the agency or the bank since the important part should be the job itself. But strictly legally, I don’t know what’s correct.

Yong professional visa - who's the employer?

Hi, I am about to apply for a Young Professional Visa. I work for a bank, but my employment is through a recruitment agency. So who will apply through, the bank or the recruitment agency? My manager is asking this. Thank you!

Extend my stay, confused by form!

Thank you! I don't know if you can answer this, but I may have an opportunity to apply for a work visa (this is another story). Can I have two different applications pending, meaning, one application for an extension, and one for the work permit? That way, if time runs out for the work permit...

Extend my stay, confused by form!

Hope I am posting this in the right forum. I'm in a sort of catch 22 situation. I am currently in Canada on a Work and Holiday visa, which expires on August 14. I moved in with my boyfriend (Canadian citizen) on the same day, so we have been living together for almost 10 months now. I will...

Apply for PR on an a tourist visa (eTA)?

I still need to explain in detail why I want to stay longer. - Should I be completely honest here? I also need to provid ”Details about your plans to leave Canada, particularly the date and time of departure and the means of transportation.” - I don’t intend to leave, so what is the option here?

Apply for PR on an a tourist visa (eTA)?

Thanks, this is definitely making me less confused and worried. So say I get a visitor visa, when I pass the border control, am I going to be totally honest with the staff? Meaning, should I say that I am going to apply for a PR through sponsorship? Or will they think I might work illegally if...

Apply for PR on an a tourist visa (eTA)?

It's that easy? Haha. The temporary option is less than six months, or more than six months. What do I choose there? They also ask, "Have you lived in Canada as a permanent resident or landed immigrant?" Am I a landed immigrant...?

Apply for PR on an a tourist visa (eTA)?

Thanks for your reply, I have looked at this, but I'm still quite confused. When I check my eligibility (http://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eapp/eapp.do) to apply for an extension, under the questions: "What would you like to do in Canada?" - Do I say "visit" "move there" or...

Apply for PR on an a tourist visa (eTA)?

Hello fellow Canada friends, Would appreciate any help I could get! I am from Sweden, turning 30 this year, and I've been in Toronto since August 2017 on a Work and Holiday Visa (valid for 12 months so it expires in August), although I currently don't have a job because I am in a situation...

    PR as administrative assistant?

Hi everyone. Would appreciate any help I can get! Like everyone else the applying for any kind of visa/residency is very confusing. I live in Toronto since August and work on a work and holiday visa (valid for a year) and I live with my boyfriend (Canadian) here. I don't like my current job...
