NO it is not automatically given.....when I got my international license made...i had asked for the authentication letter....which they refused to give and said u don't need it.....I have to go thru the trouble of getting it made from the Pak Consulate here in Toronto... Get it done from there...

Bring both....u need to prove that u have been driving....only having a one day old license will not help....be sure to bring the other one too....

I believe that it doesnt matter where u r flying from...just make sure u complete ur landing at the place u have mentioned on ur application... Its a very easy process....nothing much is required when u land...the immigration officers are extremely friendly and very courteous... One good thing...

I didnt make a list and was given the option to fill in the form at the airport.....it only took me a few minutes....but seriously speaking....I doubt u want to bring anything from Pakistan... The only thing that can help is if u r bringing a car from the US....cos cars here are much more...

A quick question guys !!! Can I take a DD in US$ or C$ in my name as POF. I don't have a foreign currency account but will deposit the money in someone elses account and then get a DD made in my favor... Can this be done?? any idea how long it will take the DD to get processed once I deposit...
