    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Quick update for the tracker - I received my oath letter dated the 5th June for a citizenship ceremony of Canada day (July 1st). Good luck to everyone else!

RQ versus Physical Presence Questionnaires, including CIT 0205

ECAS updated to decision made this morning - sounds really positive for me! :-) @Voltron123 I received the RQ in January after getting back from a Christmas vacation, it was dated mid December (with the standard 60 days to respond which didn't seem hugely reasonable.) I sent my response to the...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

That would be hard for them to standardize, in the Mississauga office it is just a shade in the blanks multiple choice test with 20 questions. I didn't find it too challenging, at least for the version of the test I had they weren't expecting you to have memorized really obscured dates, mostly...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

My test was in the Mississauga office - as was my correspondence for the Quality Assurance RQ. ECAS updated today to show decision made.

    Spousal Sponsorship

This is, literally, the reason I ended up here in Canada. My home country had a minimum income requirement even to sponsor a spouse, and we were students when we got married. Canada is a much better country in that respect!

RQ versus Physical Presence Questionnaires, including CIT 0205

I'm located in Toronto, but it is the Mississauga office that is processing my application (and that I had to go to for the test.) So long as you provided all of the paperwork the next step should just be the test being scheduled; but that I suspect is dependent upon the efficiency of whoever is...

Where to write to notify IRCC about travelling?

You can send them an online message, but it may not do anything. I sent a note saying I would be unable to receive any mail from the beginning of April to 15th May. Didn't stop them scheduling my test for the 10th May. Fortunately I was back in Toronto one weekend to pick up the notice and flew...

RQ versus Physical Presence Questionnaires, including CIT 0205

A quick update on my specific case for those who are interested in getting more data points to understand this RQ process. I received a second letter from the IRCC in the form of a "final notice - request for supplementary evidence" date the 23rd March because I had been unable to provide an...

RQ versus Physical Presence Questionnaires, including CIT 0205

Just an update that I noticed on the global tracking sheet. I would appear that @KireKhar received this CIT0205 on the 22nd December, and was invited to an interview for the 8th March. While this is only the first such data point, that seems to be quite a promising indication that there may not...

RQ versus Physical Presence Questionnaires, including CIT 0205

I wasn't particularly saying that the IRCC's tracker is all that accurate. My assumption is just that, if they can process the CIT 0205 applications within their published 12 months they will be happy. This will be regardless of whether every other application is process in 6 or 8. They set the...

RQ versus Physical Presence Questionnaires, including CIT 0205

A few people seem to be complaining of not having an update on this yet. I imagine that for many of the people who have been asked for all of this paperwork, myself included, the process of collecting the required forms takes some time. I am intending to submit my initial response to the IRCC...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

ECAS doesn't update for this at all, at least, not for me. It still shows as in process.

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

I completed fingerprinting as part of their quality assurance exercise. The RCMP site tells you that you need to go through a private agency in many locations, including Toronto where I am based. I was told that the RCMP check after the electronic submission typically takes 72 hours, and they...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Yep, I think that all of the quality assurance RQs have come after the application has moved to in process. Good luck!

RQ versus Physical Presence Questionnaires, including CIT 0205

For Ontario there is a standard form to submit I would assume that BC and Alberta have the same type of process. I don't think that this is for the specific doctors surgery, but for provincial level data.

    Citizenship Applications after Bill C-6

FP = Finger Prints. The acronym is already in use in the tracking sheet. The Quality Assurance residency questionnaire states that it is random. I have travelled to the US for a few single day business trips, but not extensive nor to many destinations. I don't see any reason to disbelieve the...

    Citizenship Applications after Bill C-6

Good morning, someone may wish to note that I received the RQ (for QA) form along with FP request etc. The letter was dated the 14th December, post marked 18th.

RQ versus Physical Presence Questionnaires, including CIT 0205

Good morning, a welcome home present after my holiday has arrived, in the form of a letter titled Quality Assurance exercise and request for additional evidence. As has been specified by other posters in this forum, this letter specifically states that "Your application was randomly selected for...

    Police Clearance for Citizenship Application

Hi @Priyankita my answer is, of course, subjective as someone who is still in the process of the application. I entered Canada directly as a PR in April 2014, and realised that I was very close to not having been in the my home country for 183 days when I was completing my application, so I...
