there's a chance you'll land before receiving your OWP unless there's a slow-down with your background check, which is I think unlikely.

you gotta go for your landing appointment and an ircc officer will print out your copr at the end of it.

it takes ircc a few days (over a week in my case) to send you correspondence. i never received aip or case completion email. i only got contacted by my local ircc office for the landing appointment. hope it helps.

if i were you, i’d wait until you land. it’s not that complicated to replace your temporary SIN and stuff, but do you really wanna waste your time in lines at service canada twice? give it a few weeks, land and get everything done once and for all.

the secret is checking your ecas and mycic every 20 minutes like an obsessive-compulsive maniac

if you look up the app with the sponsor's info (last name, DOB), then you'll see both sides. it's not necessary though, as long as you have a DM on your side consider the application approved.

i don't think it has to be linked in order for you to be able to check ecas. i doubt my representative linked my app either. i was still able to check ecas.

check your ecas first. if it says decision made on both sides, then you're definitely approved.

yeah, seems like 7-10 days on average.

absolutely nothing to worry about. only bring what's listed on the letter (ID's, photos etc). they'll ask stuff like if you've been convicted of a crime, if the sponsor understands the 3-year undertaking rule and you'll become a PR in a matter of 10 min.

i see. the fact that they didn't say that the app's processing has been completed and you'll be contacted for landing leads me to believe that you may get a request for additional docs by the local office. i can be wrong though and they could've just sent you the wrong template and didn't update...
