I believe the line "I see a few more dates have opened up for ceremonies" would have given it away. These are the upcoming oath ceremonies in which people on the tracking spreadsheet have not been scheduled for.

My wife had the same thing happen - test on Feb. 8th, during interview the officer needed to check with CBSA to cross-reference stamps (she is American, so roughly 30 trips including a lot of day trips). Took about ~6 business days to change to DM. Hang in there :)

Alternatively, there may be benefits to filing as married (transfer of certain credits, etc.) It's worth getting fixed and going back through returns to see if adjustments can/need to be made. For IRCC the requirement is "taxes filed for 3 years" - they do not interpret the Income Tax Act, nor...

Letter came via mail 2 days afterwards. No sign of the email - assuming it went to junk (cannot find it).

Just to update: ECAS updated on Jan. 9th to reflect letter being sent Jan. 8th. Received the letter in the mail yesterday (Jan. 11th) with the list of documents required.

Hi fellow Calgary applicants. For those who have received test invites, did they come via email, mail, both? ECAS is showing Feb. 8th, so far nothing via email or postal mail. Will call in a week or two if we don't see anything.

My uneducated guess is they are artificially throttling with the holidays coming up. We're in the same boat - AOR on Nov. 17th, nothing since. More than likely we'll see a mass update when they start intake again.
