    It is hard to get a visitors visa once your application is in progress but not impossible. If you have strong evidence that you will return to Mexico that may work. It won't complicate things but you may just waste time and money.

    We used UPS, just make sure that for the return waybill they use their our UPS account not a credit card number (Is not a valid option in Mexico).

    Any of the two, we dropped our constancia the only "issue" is that they don't give you a receipt or anything. The courier option will give you that but we took the risk

    We used UPS, please make sure that they sell you a prepayed waybill to get your passport back and the use their UPS account to pay for the service. if they tell you that they need to enter your credit card on the waybill that is NOT a valid option in Mexico. Good luck

    They don't need to live in Mexico City as long as it is within Mexico, the problem here is that the proof of address has to be from someone with your family name.
