I know it's not a big problem to change your first name. But for the last name, you need show them a acceptable reason, for example, you marry to another person...

I have the same situation as you. I legally changed my name before I applied Citizenship, and I didn't change the name on PR card. Just mail them the Certificate of Name Change from provincial government. When you fill up the application form for citizenship, you will see the question to ask...

NO....This is wrong You should call IRCC 8am to 4am at your local time. I really can't understand why people like to ask common questions here rather than check IRCC website.

Hi Guys, My application was delivered in October, and I have got AOR last month. However I just get a new passport from my original country because my old one is expired this week. Do I need to update the new passport information to CIC?

LOL Compare to the process of applying PR, this is totally fine.....lol

Good news, guys!! I was the one whose application was delivered on Oct 13, and I just received AOR today at 7pm. I believe all of you will get AOR very very soon. I didn't reapply, because like the CIC call centre agent said in phone, it could be possible if one application was missing or lost...
