    Self-Employed Application 2018

Hi. Not at all. It'd be a big gamble. I can't put myself and my wife through that again.

    Self-Employed Application 2018

Thanks, @oligaro , that's true. But we are aware of this. If you go through the thread you'll see we've been tracking the changes all along. When some of us applied, the average waiting time was about 9 years.

    Self-Employed Application 2018

Well... Honestly, I wouldn't advise an investment in this process. Big gamble. A) I know that some of those 20-something cases were of Brazilians currently living in Canada. But something else that we hear is that Sao Paulo's office will be shut down and Brazilian processes will be redirected...

Yes, the whole situation is very weird. We actually had a mass refusal in Brazil this past month. More than 20 cases* in the same Self-Employed category, some people were really qualified. Everyone received generic letters, providing no details for the refusals. In a private conversation, the...

    Self-Employed Application 2018

There was no issue. No feedback. The letter was generic, the same letter they send everyone. They repeat what's on the website and say you don't qualify.

    Self-Employed Application 2018

I'm sorry, have you been reading this thread? My last message was actually a follow-up to message #113, in which I commentend on my GCMS notes. I haven't had any updates since AOR. And there's been no assessment whatsoever. I initially sent my documents to Nova Scotia. Now, my file is...

What are my chances? Musician/ESL teacher

Well, I know of cases of successful Self-employed immigration for musicians that didn't fit that description (extensive touring, selling albums etc.). There are certainly other ways to show you're a good, capable professional.
