Online, I am not surprised, it happens with me every-time I apply for something, then I call them then they write a note then they will process two weeks later.

I called them early morning my phone was disconnected 4 times.

I applied for BOWP on Dec 26th, 2018 I am waiting, I called them this morning they haven't started processing mine.

you are right you don't need a support letter, AOR is sufficient

I did as my work permit expires in 10 days, they asked to apply for new one and call them back in April 2019 if I don't get PPR by that time
