Can I use this Police Certificate?

IRCC has removed all police certificate guidelines related to the spousal stream from their website, so any information shared here by anyone will be a guess. What you've stated was indeed the rules, before they changed them/removed them from public view. I'll put it this way. Depending on...

5332e Part B: Relatives living in Canada

The purpose of the question is not to add points to your application if you have relatives in Canada. There are no "points" for spousal sponsorship. Your great-uncle's son would not be a close enough relative to worry about including there. You have to draw the line somewhere. The furthest...

    sponsoring american inlaws ...

It has been a lottery for the past number of years, but they're going back to the original system for next year, which is first come first served. You can only sponsor your own parents, so your wife would need to be the primary sponsor, but you would be able to co-sponsor in order to meet the...

Travel time spent outside Canada with Canadian partner count towards PR extension?

There is no limit. A PR can renew their PR status indefinitely, even with no time spent in Canada, as long as they are living/traveling with their Canadian citizen partner.

    Inland vs Outland for Americans...?

The stated processing time of 12 months for Americans applying outland is the "standard" that IRCC promises they'll try not to exceed, not the average processing time.

    Inland vs Outland for Americans...?

Outland applications do not have to be done outside Canada. The applicant can either be inside or outside Canada. I lived in Canada while my outland application was processing.

    Inland vs Outland for Americans...?

The reason outland is better for Americans isn’t due to the appeal process. It’s the processing time. Outland applications are processed in 3-6 months for most Americans, compared to 12 months for inland.

Will DUI in USA invalidate a spousal sponsorship?

Not barred for life, it just means rehabilitation would need to actually physically be applied for (once eligible) and there would be no automatic "deemed rehabilitation" See "Eligibility for Rehabilitation" here -...

Exporting a Vehicle from the U.S. and Importing into Canada: Complete Step-by-Step Guide

No it doesn't have to display in kilometers, but you will need a sticker that goes by it, stating "odometer reads in miles" they should have these stickers available when you go get your RIV inspection done. (This is assuming the odometer display itself does not have any units/does not say miles)

Sponsoring my husband (outland) - must we be kept apart during the immigration process?

Hi. It's important to note (and it seems like you probably know already) you yourself must be in Canada to submit a sponsorship application, as you are a PR and not a citizen. Your husband can apply for a TRV and if it is approved, he can come to Canada and stay there as a visitor with you...

    Criminal Inadmissability question

There is no such thing as an immediate refusal. If they are planning to reject your application, they will always send a letter of procedural fairness first, advising you of this and allowing you the opportunity to provide more information.

Goods to follow and Importing car

No, no problems whatsoever. If you are importing the car, they will completely understand why it's not possible for you to be driving two vehicles at once. Note, I'm assuming you guys are crossing at the same time and can "caravan" through the border crossing as I suggested. If he's coming up...

Goods to follow and Importing car

Me and my husband did this (he was driving the van full of my stuff, I was driving my car). Ideally you'll you get in line at the border together, preferably with him behind you, so you can tell the border folks that he's with you and they'll direct him to pull off to secondary with you.

Confusion about how this question is worded, please help

It literally says "if you are not living together". Since you are living together, you do not answer it. It's indicated directly in the wording of the question. You're overthinking. :) Skip the question

Exporting a Vehicle from the U.S. and Importing into Canada: Complete Step-by-Step Guide

Mine already had a French one. You should double check and make sure yours doesn't. I assumed mine wouldn't, but it did! Otherwise, I've heard of people using Google Translate and making their own based on the English one and taping it in there lol

Background check vs FBI History? What’s the difference?

Think about what you’re asking. Of course they’re two different things. Canada wouldn’t allow foreign nationals to come settle here permenantly after a five second glance over a police certificate.
