Called the IRCC this morning and they confirmed that our passports had been sent out today and gave us a tracking number that matched the return envelope that we'd sent. Our FedEx tracking number confirmed that it had been picked up by them.

Nope..no notification unfortunately. I found out by calling them. That's when they told me that in the system it showed as received on June 13th even though we'd gotten an arrival notification from FedEx on May 29

I think you'd have a better chance of getting your tracking ID from the courier company that you used to send your documents. Good luck!

Has anybody (US resident) had their tracker activated today? Do you know what days CPC Ottawa sends passports in the week - apparently they don't send them out everyday. Thanks!

Simply put - your passport may have been delivered on a certain date by the courier company however CIC only considers it's 'received' when they actually process your passport.

The number I called was 613 944 4000 - I called from Google Hangouts as that is the only way to reach them from the US. But I would agree that you should give it at least 2 weeks.

Well my husband and I are not inland applicants. We're based in the US so I can't really say. But I do hope they don't hold it for that long since we have a lot of plans on pause at the moment

Just called the IRCC. Our passports are in queue for printing. Not sure how long its going to take. They said they never hold the passport for More than 2 weeks.

We were approved on the 14th and have been waiting as well. I even had my last day at work last Friday so we could pack and leave this week and I'm expected to start my new job next Monday. Really hoping it gets activated today.
