In my case, it was mailed out 1 week after my file was closed.

Just want to let you know that I went to Service Canada in Scarborough around 1pm today and was able to get served because I had my hotel booking, I will get my passport on Monday next week. There was not many people queuing so might be worth trying walk-in.

No worries, I know a lot of us wondering how long it takes. I had to cancel my passport appointment tomorrow because I doubt it would arrive on time and it would be better for someone else to take that slot.

No, they just send out using regular Canada Post service. You can’t choose the courier.

I sent an email to the ceremony email address and they said the certificate was mailed out on August 18 via regular mail. They took their sweet time for sure.

I read a few posts and they said the certificate would be mailed out when the application is closed, maybe it’s not the case then. I’m hoping to get it soon so I don’t have to cancel my trip

My application was closed on August 11, 2 days after oath.

I did mine on August 9 (Winnipeg office), still waiting for the certificate

Had my oath today, it is possible to do in-person pickup. However unfortunately my oath was done by MB office and I am in ON so couldn’t pick it up myself. Hoping the certificate would be delivered before Aug 26 but it seems unlikely to me.

Oath in progress on July 26, I got the email on July 29, my oath ceremony is on August 9 so 7 business days prior to the ceremony.

No, everything was marked completed on July 18 so it’s considered “Decision made”. You will have to wait for citizenship ceremony to be in progress.

It took me 8 days from Decision made to oath invitation then 3 days to get the ceremony email. But it would be different for everybody.
