Status on my CIC profile changed to approved around afternoon IST. However the email stating there is an update only arrived next day.

The status on CIC page has also been approved now!

Passports have been dispatched from the embassy to VFS. VFS will send out the courier later in the evening so the Bluedart tracking should be available by night/tomorrow morning. That's when u may receive the sms/email.

Ideally, should get the passport by tomorrow!

So we are not the only ones facing this. Its normal. That's actually good to know.

Absolutely no clue. But i have been searching the net a lot on this and my observation has been that there have been ppl who have had long delays in Passport stamping but i have seen no case where there has been a refusal after PPR. So just being patient and positive is the way to go.

Too soon to be worried. Me and few others here have submitted on 08th Sep and still got no updates. In any case, VFS will not be able to provide any more details than that on their online tracking.

I called them today. They said usually Visa office takes 10 calendar days from the day the receive the passport (11th Sep for me), so I can expect an update anytime now as today is the 10th day.

Simply means ur passport has been sent to the Visa Office. The status will change to in process at the NDVO in a day or so.

H Hope so. Difficult not be anxious.

Dont understand why it would take so long for me given our timeline is pretty much same!
