***APRIL 2017***SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

We applied in late May for a French spouse, but got streamed to CPC-Mississauga for processing instead of Paris. What is the citizenship of your applicant? Is the sponsor Canadian PR or citizen?

OUTLAND approved sponsorship then STUCK in Mississauga ... GATHER HERE ...

Ours said this before we even completed them. I guess we'll have to follow up with them to confirm actual receipt. At this point, we're putting no faith in any status on GCkey or ECAS.

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

We're all considering it as such, but it's a new process: none of us know what's going to happen. Will CPCM start issuing visas and PRs? Nobody knows. Maybe they will still send them to a VO, but in a completed state where the VO just rubberstamps approvals. We might have more info once a CPC-M...

    SPONSORING MY PREGNANT WIFE

Don't make the descriptions too long: the more they have to read, the more time they may take to read it all. If your application is straightforward, don't make it unnecessarily complex.

    Spousal Sponsorship Income Test

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you're not receiving any assistance and not sponsoring anyone beyond your spouse. Just keep track of your travels with your spouse when you they get PR and the two of go away so they meet PR's residency "residency" requirements.

    Spousal sponsorship

How did the line of questioning go resulting in your to-be spouse getting a Visitor Record? Usually visa-exempt nationals end up with the default stamp for 6 months. On the plus side, a visitor record is usually sufficient (in Ontario anyway) to start the process of getting a drivers license if...
