I did but it was a while ago - end of 2009, timelines were different back then. Moved 2 months after the test, did not have an oath invitation at that point. Called CIC and changed the address, couple of months later got an invitation to the oath at the new address. I believe moving did delay...

    September 2014 Citizenship Application

I see from the signature that you received AOR in the e-mail. From what I read on this forum (in this thread and others) is that those getting AOR in the e-mail will see their eCAS updated in January as CIC is upgrading the system or something.

    The wait is extremly long

Denisa, I understand that every second spent away from your beloved is one second too long. However, Bucharest is very fast compared to other offices. I participate in Russian-speaking forum elsewhere and there are Russian-speaking women from Moldova whose wait time was as short as 2.5 months...

    Moscow Application Processing Office

Dmitri, the conventional wisdom is that you should not send additional documents and/or evidence, unless you are specifically asked to or you are 100% sure you will be asked b/c you failed to send a document from the list or realized that you filled the form in the wrong way. Anecdotal...

Never been to Canada - Chances still the same?

The decision on spousal sponsorship depends only on how genuine your relationship is, not on applicant's Canadian experience, travel history or language proficiency.

visa issued:) but still a few questions about landing.

Visa expiry date will be one year from his medical results. He will have to land before 11th of January, so the time is tight. They say they will issue a visa as of January, my guess is that your husband will get it in January, b/c of Holiday season. You have to contact embassy to discuss the...

    any Idea

Here is the best of my understanding of how they work. Disclaimer: it may be wrong, I picked it up from bits and pieces from forum threads and CAIPS notes. There are basically two tiers: program assistants and immigration program officers. When application comes in, it is assistants whose job...

Typing on the fillable pdf forms

Oh, I see. Yes, this is how it works when you fill forms - typographical aesthetics over alignment, but this is fine - it is legible and unambiguous. I sent forms like that many times.

Personal History - Since you were 18 or the last 10 years?

The text is quite unambiguous - whichever is longer, so yes - you have to provide information since the age of 13. And it's just common sense - the more the better, they can always ignore what they do not need. I was 25 at the time of my FSW application, so I provided information from my age 15...

Typing on the fillable pdf forms

Shandy, can you give a link to a screenshot or at least identify which form and which field you are talking about? On the subject of saving - I used Cute PDF Form Filler, it is cheaper than full Acrobat. Readable - yes, but what you definitely want to avoid is ambiguity.
