Finally got a DM on ecas and email that Stage 1 (sponsorship) is complete - after 5.5 years. Secondary review took 8 months to finish. file transferred to Ottawa. my parents have gone back to india. how long it will take now for stage 2 from ottawa? is ottawa faster than new delhi?

i had this issue.. i think the problem is the number of applicants.. include the full size of the family including yourself (sponsor)

yes i had added my spouse as co-signer later on, but not in initial application. now due to change in circumstance (child) the LICO is not met , so i think they are checking if the 12 month rule is applying before change in circumstance as per the Dokaj operational bulletin

My status is still referred for secondary review since April 2016 (6 months )- no update since 6 months Also says r10 requirements met. Po to review request as a possible Dokaj case. case referred to special unit/Service Delivery Specialist for LICO. R.11 based on temporary processing office CPC...

Thanks for the bulletin. but bulletin doesnt say if i can add my spouse as a co-signer later on , if i have a shortfall for a year , whenever they ask for updated financial documents? do you know?

i had applied just before the temporary pause . at that time spouse was not co-signer. can spouse be added co-ssigner. cic has not yet began processing my app anyway. Also when i applied i did not have 3 years history in canada (had just 1 year of NOAs). i had mentioned this in application.

My question is for the minimum income requirement, does CIC look for 3 years past application date or 3 years once the application is under processing (as it takes 48 months for sponsor stage 1 to start processing) Also, what if the income for a year is less , can a spouse's joint undertaking...

weird that my status changed back from DM to In process ; but in the details i still see that a decision has been made.. what does that mean? did the pp get returned back to ND or what?
