Same boat here. Is there anything we can do about it? I have called the IRCC number numeours times and the status didn't change - in process (due to a 3rd party security check).

How backlogged are they have (Vancouver office)? I am waiting for DM over a month now : | Call center mentioned (like for everyone else waiting) that a third-party background check is pending. Nothing else is needed. Any thoughts?
