i applied for nexus card back in Sept 2019. got conditional approval on May 26, 2020 did my enrolment interview on Dec 18, 2021 and was approved on the spot but I’m still waiting for card ( Jan 7, 2022)

I think you went through secondary screening. :) It's scary for the first time but it's not a big deal. You are now a Canadian citizen. No worries. Canada won't take away your citizenship...
