hello everyone... I have submitted my partner's birth certificate proof (dtd on 23august 2017)as it was demanded by cic for completing my file.. But they didn't process my file until now.. Is it normal??or anybody can tell how long they will take to process my file

Hello everyone: I received a message from CIC on gckey, they demanded birth certificate proof .. i have provided dated on 23 august.. but i didn't get further any response from there side... Does anybody can tell me that whats the reason????
