PNP PR - JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER 2016 Applicants>>>Lets Connect here

I have to say that there is some problem in communication between IRCC and applicants. For me, BGNA changes to BGIP and then PPR in one day, which I assume IRCC actually did background check before changing the status online.

Don't worry. If the duration between your MR and BGIP is longer, the time between BGIP and PPR will be shorter (sometime even in one day). Prepare your photos and get ready to be a PR very soon.

PNP PR - JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER 2016 Applicants>>>Lets Connect here

Calling CIC is not necessary if you do not have any questions and issues to solve. It will not affect (slow or speed up) your application at all. Each batches of applications have their own deadline. The average speed is depended on Application time, specific speed is depended on complexity of...

The reason IRCC needs the passport is to stamp the one-time entry immigrant visa. It is NOT REQUIRED for visa-exempt countries so I assume you should send ONLY your passport. Also, ALL of you will need to take photo, IRCC needs it for your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) papers (and...

Your are welcome. I have heard that that IRCC (formerly known as CIC) does have "deadline" according to the application procedure. They are trying to control the process within the current 18-month timeline. So be patient if you have a non-complicated application.

I am not so sure about the reply CIC gave you because not all September applicants are in the same batch. I heard that CIC have their own "deadline" dealing with different batches of applications. Let us be a little bit optimistic and hope Late August and early September applicants could get DM...

From timeline of my friends who applied around 1 month before me, I assume we will get PPR in less than 1 month after BG N/A changes to BGIP. Mid or late February I assume.
