Got PPR today! :) April 12th- application received May 7th - Aor1 Sept 11th Aor2 Jan 15th- background check started Jan 29th- DM Jan 30th PPR Out of station. Have to wait for three days to send in my passport. First thing to be done on Friday.

No they haven't. I guess after they send back your passport, they change it.

Hey guys! Quick question, how do you get to know DM on your application? Through gc key, ecas, or do they send you an email?

Can't say. It's very random. I feel they are mostly following application received date.

I feel it's just done randomly. I am an April 12 applicant, AOR2 Sept 11 and my background check started a few days back. They aren't processing according to AOR2 only. Yours will start soon. :)

My husband just called Cic. So apparently 14 months is for applicants within Canada. It's still 12 months for outside Canada applications

This status changed few days ago. Had ordered for GCMS notes 2 weeks back. A week back we had to fill a consent form for it. After sending the consent form, status changed to we need additional documents..well my BGC hasn't eveb started yet. April 12 applicant.

Yes, you can email them directly at delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca. They take about 3 weeks to respond back. Their reply is very generic. They do not give out any specific information. There is no harm in giving it a try.:)
