Today my status message changed to "We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information." What does this mean?

That's great to know. I believe you should get the request for passport in this week. I too got the status updated to Background check - Not applicable. I think it is IP2. Hoping for the PPR request to be initiated this week. Regards, Kunal

Didn't get your point. Do you mean the points will be reduced however since I have a good CRS based on current scenario, I should not be worried? or IRCC considers points at the time of application and therefore my EE application will be processed with 452 CRS?
