long processing usually results in approval write an email to question@cic.gc.ca or may be @gc.cic.ca u can check online

same situation first wait for the decision not a wise thing to book tickets for canada before visa confirmation.

i have not been able to understand cic at all. read my personal story as well. i think in this age obtaining usa and uk visas is way easier than obtaining a canadian trv. you should contact cic for more clarification.
