I understand that. COPR is usually valid till the expiry of the medicals. IRCC have posted that if COPR is expiring before one can travel, they will reopen the case and... do what? They will just extend it or will ask to do/redo something (specifically medicals as this is most painful part)

Does anyone know what happens if the medical results are expired before the COPR holder can enter Canada for landing? Will they be required to redo the medicals?
