My birth registration was also late...I included only birth certificate with the file..Then, they requested all certificates and voter id and I submitted through my GCKey ...Don’t submit original documents until they request for those..so provide only photocopies of these

I’m 20 April applicant.. aor2 on 5 July..no update after that.. In NVDO , files are neither being processed according to aor 1 nor aor 2.. it is totally unpredictable or may be I’m not lucky to get any update :(

Sometimes this status remains the same even after the decision made.. Don’t worry about this..In my GCKey account, the status is still same “reviewing the documents “since June month.

It means ur Background check is not started yet.. u have to wait at least 1-2 months..now days Background of April applicant is being processed

When did u send ur file to CPC- Mississauga.. In NDVO files are being processed when did u apply ..Can u plz share ur complete timeline

Yes.. average time is 2-3 weeks.. don’t worry

R u June applicant ?? .. I think none of may or June applicant got background check in NDVO yet..In this month Background check of some April applicants and few march apllicants is being processed.. I’m april applicant but still Background check is not applicable.

This is acknowledgement of receipt 1 which is the confirmation that ur file is complete. It includes file number and uci number
