We we got all three letters! Thanks everyone. Next question. It says to link their files but they are all under 18 so this is not possible as they do not have bank accounts and we would have to make up accounts in their names. Are we good to just know that info would come to my husband?

Yes he did. But on his application they were none accompanying. They have already had their medicals as well.

Hi all. I have already sponsered my husband and he received Pr in August. We have submitted applications for his children and they were received November 16th in Mississauga. We have not received a confirmation or application number.

Under who can't be a sponser it says the following... were sponsored by a spouse or partner and you became a permanent resident less than five years ago

Hi guys. My husband became a permanent resident end of August. I am in the process of sponsoring his children. The packages were returned to me today. I am not sure if I used the wrong package but they are saying I am not eligible to sponser step children. I did the dependant child package.

Everything I have read says under 19. I know they are planning to change this come October.

Good morning. Can anyone tell me if I can sponser someone that turned 19 in June? She was on the original app for my husband as non accompanying and did medical but since he received PR she is now over 19.

Yes the children were listed and they had their medical done. We did put non accompanying thou.

Good morning everyone. Update!!! My husband received his PR on Tuesday!!! We were a August 2016 applicant. Pr was done in London and very very easy.
