I took the test July 18th and have been DM since July 27th... I too am still waiting for my oath invite. Super stoked for everyone getting their invites, but a little frustrated too.

Nearly every place (from photographer, to camera store, to Costco and London Drugs) that has the set up to take citizenship /PR/ passport photos will have a stamp that they use to stamp the back and then date the photo. There is room on the stamp for you to then fill out your name etc as...

The DM to oath timeline is the only that I somewhat disagree with you on. I have been DM since July and am still waiting for an oath invite... yet there are other applicants who received DM's in August who have already received oath invites.... so even with this, as with everything else in this...

Yup. You are exactly right. And your Nexus may have helped. At my test interview, the agent told me my application was completed, looked good and they were just waiting for a final security clearance. 10 days later I went to DM... at which point I assume all clearances are passed.

You wait... until line #5 appears telling you they have sent out an invitation for the oath ceremony. This timeline varies from people being given oath letters at the end of the test/interview, to many months left in DM limbo.

You should contact them IMMEDIATELY and let them know you will be unable to attend the scheduled test date and they will be able to direct you to the process of how to reschedule it. DO NOT simply choose to miss the test without advising them. No idea how quickly a reschedule would happen...

Yup - definitely all over the place for sure. It took about 9 days (almost 2 business weeks) for my status to change to DM after the test. But there are many that have been waiting MONTHS for a status change after a passed test and interview.... so I can't complain and patience is DEFINITELY a...

Yes. I became a permanent resident and am currently applying for Citizenship. I have sat the test and status has changed to DM and I am awaiting my oath invite. I have never needed a birth certificate for either my PR or Citizenship applications / renewals etc
