I glued my pictures onto 8x11 paper, two per sheet and wrote who was in the pic, along with the date. It worked fine for me.

Because the decision was made before you repaid the welfare payments. Its probably just better to withdraw the application and just reapply. God only knows how long that appeal that they are talking about will take if you decide to go the appeal route.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention above that you should take your study permit along to the interview at the US Embassy. More than likely if they grant you the Visa to the US and if it is for multiple entries they will put the expiration date of the US visa to the expiration date of the Canadian study...
