Hello everyone! The impossible happened today- I received my invitation (through email) for my oath. It will be on April 11th in the Scarborough office. I have just gotten to the point of "I really don't care how many more years this will take"! I was in disbelief when I saw the email.

I am in the same boat- had the test and interview in October and no word since then! I don't know what's going on. I called CIC on Friday but all they said was I am in the 12-month processing window so nothing to worry about. "Nothing to worry about" doesn't mean it's any less annoying to wait...

Well, I do live in Toronto, not in Scarborough. I didn't know my files would be handled by the Scarborough office. People submit their location of residence, not the location of the file processing center. We don't know that information until later in the process.

Printing the email test invite is enough. I never received anything by mail either, just email. I printed it and had no problems. Good luck!

I didn't know there is an option to request a different location. I doubt I'll find a location with more ceremonies, in Scarborough there are ceremonies two days a week, 4 times a day. Maybe that's as frequent as it gets. I am a bit surprised my status has been "Decision made" for 2 weeks now...

Do you guys know if the citizenship ceremony has to be in the same location as the test?

In the invitation letter, they tell you what you need to bring. It's usually the originals you included in the application, plus anything else that might help. I brought the application, physical presence calculator, passports, PR card, diploma (language proof). This is what my invitation said...
