My passport was received on June 21. Approved on Monday, July 10. Before this morning, my status was exactly the same as yours "background check in progress", now it has changed to approved. So I guess it takes couple days for them to update the status.

When I called yesterday, they told me it was in queue. I will cch Yesterday I was told that it was in the queue (I called around 4PM ET), today I was told it had been stamped the day before, not yet showing approved ...

Ha I called again, impatient me :), and was told they had stamped my passport, but no timeframe of when it will be sent out. Guys, based on your experiences, how soon do they send passports back after they have been stamped?

I called yesterday too and the agent told me that my passport is still in the queue, although it was delivered on June 21st, so frustrating ...
