Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Thanks! The last time when I had called CIC they told me that the file was in Ottawa. The medicals were done in December 2016. The PCC were also sent in December 2016, and the RPRF was submitted in January 2017.

Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Congratulations! I would suggest that your husband take all supporting documents when he lands. No harm in being over prepared rather than under prepared when, if, an immigration officer asks for a document. As for the visa saying 1 entry, that only means that the visa on his passport is good...

Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Frankly speaking I don't know where our file is. The last I heard was that it was in Ottawa. Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

hey Garry, thanks for the reply. what happens if the medicals cross the one-year mark? isn't the CIC supposed to complete working on an application once the medicals have been requested within 1 year? I mean, its their delay that caused the medicals to expire. Not the fault of the applicant or...

Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Thanks for the reply buddy. Do you know what happens if the parents are visiting here in Canada and their PPR comes while they are here? Can the address be changed and the PP's be sent to Ottawa? Or do they need to travel back to India to send it to NDVO?
